- ➤ David Dafoe ’84, founder of Flavorman, was appointed to Miami University’s Board of Trustees + his term runs from Dec. 11 to Dec. 11, 2028 + he previously served on its Foundation Board of Directors. Miami University
- ➤ Miami University plans to rename its Office of Liberal Education and simplify the Miami Plan by cutting credits and reducing requirements, starting fall (2027) as Interim Provost Chris Makaroff suggested at Dec. 11 and 12 meetings. The board approved $40 million to shift regional campuses toward a polytechnic focus. Oxford Free Press
