- ➤ Oxford Winter House's planned opening was delayed by wiring damage from squirrels at 5223 College Corner Pike. Organizers provided temporary shelter at a local hotel and Oxford Vineyard Church from Dec. 12 while repairs continue and volunteers are still needed. Oxford Free Press
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At its Dec. 12 meeting at Marcum Conference Center, Miami University’s Board of Trustees approved a new Health Professions Education Master of Education degree and an innovative 24-month nursing program in partnership with NEOMED; David Dafoe ’84 was named national trustee for a three-year term. Miami University
- ➤ Miami University Board approved summer 2026 plans to tear down four buildings + renovate three halls and begin offering a new master's in health and science education. They will review a Cook Field arena update for the 2028-2029 basketball season at the February meeting. The Miami Student
