- ➤ Lauren Skelly will earn her bachelor's degree from Miami University on Friday as her graduation comes 100 years after her great-grandmother Mary Steele Wylie Wilson earned her degree in 1925 from Western College for Women (now part of Miami University). Miami University
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local researcher David Russell drives to Hueston Woods every Tuesday and Thursday morning to band and test migratory birds for conservation. The nonprofit Avian Research and Education Institute, started in 2004 with his wife, now operates with 10-12 volunteers + 40 nets to track bird health and migration. Oxford Free Press
