- ➤ The Audubon Miami Valley chapter will host its annual Christmas Bird Count on Dec. 20 from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in different Oxford areas. The event offers guided bird walks and at-home options and will conclude with a potluck luncheon while contributing data to a global citizen science project. Oxford Free Press
- ➤ Jim Robinson will be honored at the 23rd Memory and Honor Tree ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Knolls of Oxford Clubhouse. The Auxiliary of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital hosts the event to celebrate his 50 years of service—while raising funds for health scholarships. Oxford Free Press

- ➤ Miami University will honor over 1,000 fall graduates at its commencement on Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. at Millett Hall, where bachelor's, master's, associate degrees, certificates, doctorates + three honorary Doctorate of Letters will be awarded and the event is livestreamed on YouTube. - ➤ Vivek Ramaswamy launched his bid for governor at Miami University's Farmer School of Business on Wednesday during a TPUSA event attended by local residents and students.
