- ➤ Associate professor Andrew Paluch co-published a research article in ChemistryOpen that uses computer models to evaluate new statin analogs for coronary artery disease treatment. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Miami University Ph.D. student Alfredo Ascanio Moreno found that Oxford’s cicada populations are shifting, with woodlands showing declines and farmland fencerows hosting up to 400 cicadas per square meter. He warned that if land owners replace natural fencerows—key habitats for these insects—the next emergence in 2038 may bring fewer cicadas. Oxford Free Press
