Milford Township trustee Amy Butterfield is working with Miami University to finish digital mapping of burial records at three cemeteries while they await approval of an $11,500 grant—this project uses drone photos and an online database to track over 2,000 headstones.
The mapping will help keep records up-to-date as new burials occur and preserve the township's history.
