- ➤ Owner Gini Maddocks of Snazzy Boutique hosted a fashion show at The Twenty One on Aug. 10 that raised nearly $3,000, with half of the funds going to the venue and $1,455 provided to TOPSS for food purchases—Mayor Bill Snavely attended a Sept. 8 ceremony while Maddocks is considering another show in 2026. - ➤ Miami University launches its 2025 Homecoming on Sept. 25 with a joint parade with Talawanda High School starting at 6 p.m. in Uptown Oxford—events include sports contests and festivities through Sept. 28. Miami University
- ➤ The Oxford Public Arts Commission met on Sept 8 to revise its muralist selection process and planned projects including a mural at the municipal parking garage set for early November and a Call for Haiku event starting in October—Miami University students will work on a mural near the Duke Energy substation in spring, with the commission set to reconvene on Oct 13.
