- ➤ Miami University submitted its fifth report using the new STARS v3.0 system and received its third STARS Gold rating — a boost for its sustainability work. The university built two new solar fields as part of the Sharon and Graham Mitchell Sustainability Park that will start making about 2,000 megawatt hours of electricity each year later this fall as it works toward carbon neutrality by 2040.
