Physics major Zeynep Bayraktar is exploring her third research role at Miami University's condensed matter lab studying atomic-scale materials.
She will start a summer fellowship at Purdue University + work on faster methods to characterize photonic chips.
Miami University Polytechnic on Hamilton campus will launch in fall 2027 with three new programs after the Board of Trustees approved a polytechnic model in June.
The initiative is part of MiamiTHRIVE and aims to offer students faster pathways to credentials.
