The Oxford Fun Hunt returns for its 53rd year as 21 teams and about 110 players start at TRI Community Center at 6 p.m. tonight, solving puzzles to find hidden symbols near local businesses while local donations & prizes boost the long tradition.

During its June 26 meeting, the Miami University Board of Trustees approved a $913 million operating budget for fiscal year 2027 and launched Miami University Polytechnic on the Hamilton campus; officials also approved a new site for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Northeast Ohio (pending state approval).

Miami University center Ilia Morozov was picked 20th overall by the Buffalo Sabres today as the highest NHL draft pick in school history and the first first-round selection since 2015.

The 17-year-old played all 36 games as a freshman and scored 20 points.
