EDUCATION NEWS

  • Music business students in two classes (Record Labels and Music Publishing Operations) worked with Colemine Records yesterday (June 16th) to develop research-based marketing strategies for the label’s upcoming album release. They met with label executives at Miami University to gain hands-on industry experience.  Miami University
  • Katie Dunn, a Miami University rising senior in Social Work, contacted Professor Kimiecik last August after reading her thesis and began a research project linking sport, nutrition, and mental health; she presented a literature review at the National Association of Social Workers Ohio Chapter Conference and plans to build the Sport, Play, and Resilience Collaborative while pursuing dual master’s degrees — aiming to use sport as a tool for positive change.  Miami University
