- ➤ Miami University’s board approved the new MILE curriculum and AI in majors (set for fall 2027) that will merge departments and raise fees, while Oxford’s assistant city manager discussed local issues including housing, trails phase five, and plans for a water softening project. - ➤ Miami University held its 187th Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 16 in Oxford after a 30-minute weather delay, with about 4,500 students walking the stage to receive diplomas.
