  • Miami University Board of Trustees approved four new academic degrees on May 16 at Marcum Hotel and Conference Center+the programs include a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages and Cultures, a Bachelor of Science in Education for Inclusive Education, a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, and they will now seek state approval.  Miami University

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Oxford city staff are rewriting the unified development code after several consultants left the firm, with city planner Zachary Moore leading the internal effort to combine zoning updates with historic preservation guidelines. The Planning Commission also recommended rezoning a city parcel along Hester Road for affordable housing, and the proposal now awaits City Council approval.  Oxford Free Press
