- ➤ Oxford police arrested Nigel Thomas (34) last week after Indiana authorities named him the primary suspect in the killing of Wilma Robertson, 35, who was fatally stabbed in her home; he will appear in Butler County court today for extradition as investigators allege he framed a Louisville man using fake social media profiles. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students at Talawanda middle and high schools have led a two-year mental health campaign that asked three key questions about stress, relief, and support after a grant from Interact for Health. The groups launched the campaigns - Be the Calm in Our Storm and There are Many Ways We Manage Stress - and will add training for teachers next school year. Oxford Free Press
- ➤ Since the start of the 2024-25 school year, Miami University has seen major changes — increased faculty workload and plans for a new arena — that have raised concerns about campus life and academic quality.
