- ➤ Christa Carrero started H.O.P.E.-full Pastures to offer animal therapy and mentorship to children and families who have faced trauma, drawing on her own foster care and adoption experience - the nonprofit has reached 360 children from 177 families and will soon add art, music and play spaces while turning its farmhouse into a home for those in need. - ➤ A Miami University student named Owen Ray—detained with an unnamed college student—was arrested in Denmark on April 1 after an alleged assault during a spring break Uber ride and remains in pre-trial detention at Copenhagen Airport until April 24 while the U.S. State Department provides consular assistance.
