The Oxford NAACP will host its annual Freedom Fund Banquet at 4:30 p.m. April 26 in Miami’s Shriver Center—Courtis Fuller will speak and a buffet dinner will be served before scholarship winners and award recipients are honored.

Tickets cost $60 and will support NAACP activities and scholarships for graduating Talawanda seniors.

Residents of Oxford will see foxes and learn about their habits at a fox talk hosted at Hueston Woods from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12 — the event is held at the nature center and children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Oxford Area Trails System will host the OATS n’ Honey 5K and 10K race tomorrow at 9 a.m. on the Oxford trails before the Bee Festival—registration is open today at Enjoy Oxford at 14 W.
