- ➤ Miami biology professor Andor Kiss appears in PacBio's Beyond the Bench series today to explain how Miami University's new Vega DNA sequencer offers large-fragment ease-of-use for research and compares DNA sequencing to unlocking details in a vinyl record’s grooves — the video may guide more labs in choosing sequencing technology. - ➤ Miami University has completed its first major overhaul of Bachelor Hall and renamed the humanities center as the Altman Institute for the Humanities to honor alumnus John W. Altman.
