  • Miami biology professor Andor Kiss appears in PacBio's Beyond the Bench series today to explain how Miami University's new Vega DNA sequencer offers large-fragment ease-of-use for research and compares DNA sequencing to unlocking details in a vinyl record’s grooves — the video may guide more labs in choosing sequencing technology.  Miami University
  • Miami University has completed its first major overhaul of Bachelor Hall and renamed the humanities center as the Altman Institute for the Humanities to honor alumnus John W. Altman.   • Oxford's new electric aggregation program gives residents 100% renewable energy at lower costs, with eligible users automatically enrolled and able to opt out anytime.
