Oxford’s Public Arts Commission voted on Aug. 11 to recommend a trompe l’oeil mural by Mathew Sharum for the Municipal Parking Garage at 6 W. Walnut St.—the design shows a waterfall, a red pick-up truck, and an optical illusion effect. City Council reviewed the design on Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. and the mural installation will be completed by the end of the year.
